Summer tubing and Zorball are coming to Woodbury Ski Area this summer!
Our grand opening celebration day will be June 25th and 26th in combination
with live music, vendors, and many food choices.
We now offer the excitement of winter tubing without the coats and gloves! We
have over 1000 feet of summer tubing runs that simulate snow tubing by allowing
the tubes to ride over trails using a unique artificial turf. If the temperate
is over 88 degrees, we will add misty water to the chutes to allow the tubing
to go faster.
Zorball is the latest craze hitting the area! Zorball is a transparent inflatable
sphere with an air cushion surrounding it. The rider climbs into the inner sphere
and enjoys a unique ride down the tubing chute.
Our skateboard park will remain open every day as well. The skate park will
be converted into a snowboarding and ski park using the grinds and rails, quarter
pipes, and other special features on an artificial ski surface. We are the only
ski area in New England to offer this! Come practice your ski and snowboard
skills using our summer park.
Top snowboard teams will be on the scene on June 25th and 26th to demo this
innovative take-off on snowboarding. They will be hanging out throughout the
weekend to talk with. We will be having a competition for snowboarders and skiers
to show their skills on this new artificial turf. The competition will be hosted
at 3pm on June 25th and 26th.
To top off this grand opening of summer fun will be Woodbury Ski Area's 39th
annual Reggae Fest. There will be arts & crafts and food vendors. Vendors
