Come celebrate with rock and southern rock tribute bands! This year we are adding
a variety of bands to the line-up to attract a broader range of music fans.
Confirmed bands:
-Childhood's End: The ultimate Pink Floyd tribute band! Using a circular video
screen, high tech intelligent lights, cutting edge sound and note perfect renditions
of the classic songs, Childhood's End reflects the true essence of Pink Floyd.
With over 100 years of combined musical and music business experience, locally,
nationally and internationally, Childhood's End provides a truly professional
and complete visual and dynamic musical performance.
-The Peach Project: A tribute to The Allman Brothers Band! The Peach Project
is a six piece band comprised of some of the tri-state areas premier musicians
performing a tribute to the music of The Allman Brothers Band. The band's members,
individually and collectively, possess the instrumental and vocal fire, creativity,
and musical professionalism to render the music with the electricity, emotion
and nuance of the original. Response to their live shows has been ecstatic and
their fan base is growing rapidly.
-Whiskey River Band: Founded in 1987, The Whiskey River Band is an original
Connecticut band, playing the finest Southern Rock north of Dixie. They are
four time winners of The New Haven Advocate's (local A&E paper) "Best
Of" for Southern Rock/Country music - by enough of a landslide to cause
them to retire the category for several years. Although they primarily play
Southern and Classic Rock, they also incorporate Blues, and old R&B/ Soul
into their sets. Over their 20 year career, they've shared the stage with bands
like Charlie Daniels, The Outlaws, .38 Special, Johnny Winter, Marshall Tucker,
Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Doobie Brothers.
-Crosseyed Cat: This band has captivated audiences all over the New England
area by their style and signature sound. They have taken the blues to a new
level that has fans, the press, and other musicians taking notice and singing
praises. All five band members compose, sing and play multiple instruments.
They have taken the stage with the best of the national acts, whether it was
Buddy Guy, Debbie Davies, or Chris Duarte.
-Ghost Riders: A Southern rock band led by ex-Outlaws member Steve Grisham.
Band members include: Randall Hall, formerly with LYNYRD SKYNYRD; Johnny Neel,
formerly with ALLMAN BROTHERS; Steve Grisham, formerly with THE OUTLAWS; Jimmy
Gunn, formerly of BROOKS AND DUNN; and Barry Rapp, founding member of HENRY
PAUL BAND.
-Kashmir: The #1 Led Zeppelin tribute band, is the most authentic and accurate
representation of Led Zeppelin out there today. All four members of the band
assume their individual roles with amazing accuracy. Kashmir brings the stage
show, the sound, and likeness to bring your audience and patrons back to a day
when the Mighty Led Zeppelin ruled the musical landscape.
-Southern Comfort: The Southern Comfort Band was formed with one goal in mind-to
bring true American Southern Rock music back to the people who love it. The
boys in Southern Comfort believed there was a void in the music world and felt
it was their duty to fill it. The band prides itself on its authentic reproductions
of classic Southern Rock anthems from bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman
Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, and others.
As one observer said, "If you close your eyes, you'd swear it was the real
thing."
Based out of Connecticut, Nashville Drive is a 5 piece Top 40
country cover band performing a wide range of today's top country artists hits.
Justin on lead vocals, Vinnie on drums & percussion, Jon on bass guitar,
Paul acoustic guitar & backing vocals, and Greg on electric guitar &
backing vocals.
Citizens Band Radio has performed with such artists as
The Charlie Daniels Band, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot,
Jimmy VanZant, the Ghostriders, Blackberry Smoke, The
Outlaws and many other nationally known musicians. The
band consists of six musicians with instrumentation
including Mandolin, Pedal Steel, Acoustic and Electric
Guitars, Bass & Drums. Along with the mix of instruments
are 3 and 4 part harmonies that are both unique and powerful.
The band currently travels in a vintage GMC 35 foot tour bus
and resides on a 75 acre farm in western jersey.
More bands to be announced!
